Join the Justice in June Challenge

In light of the recent protests that have broken out south of the border in reaction to the ongoing and pervasive nature of racism in our society, it’s important for us to take a stand to express our solidarity with our Black colleagues, friends and students. We can shine a light on racism and deeply reflect about how the systems we live in, work in can uphold and perpetuate racist and oppressive realities for dear members of our community: Indigenous people and visible minorities such as Black people.

As educators, it is our responsibility to get educated and share information. We encourage you to join in the Justice in June challenge – take 10 minutes a day to learn and reflect on what you can do better for your students

For those interested in taking part in the challenge, we will have four weekly debrief sessions over lunch on Fridays from 12 to 1 p.m. (EST) in June (June 5, 12, 19, 26) where we can discuss what actions we can take as educators.
